I have worked with Cynthia over the last 3 years in London on many assignments. I was very excited and thrilled to be at the Broadway opening night of Color Purple on Thursday 10th December 2015. Color Purple is currently playing at the Jacob B Bernard Theatre with Jennifer Hudson as Shug and Danielle Brooks as Sofia. Cynthia Erivo has reprised the role of Celie which she played in London in 2013. I got to spend a show backstage with Cynthia this week...
